Which strips have bands?
Blind test. Every strip is the same smooth grey ramp in HDR, stored as a 16-bit PNG but rounded to a different precision, in shuffled order. Some should show bands. For each letter, note bands, faint or smooth. Use a dark room and mid brightness.
